FOOD SAFETY AT HOME

To ensure the best Enterprise quality and taste experience, we advise that you follow the cooking and storage recommendations on pack.

COOKING RECOMMENDATIONS

Place under preheated grill (180°C) or panfry over high heat to desired crispness, turning occasionally.

STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS

Bacon is an uncooked product. It must be consumed within 2 days of opening the pack or by ‘Use By’ date as indicated on pack. The product can be refrigerated below 5°C, also suitable for home freezing between -12°C and -18°C. Ensure the product is used within 1 month of freezing and do not refreeze once defrosted.

Ensure outer packaging is tightly vacuum packed. If frozen, defrost thoroughly before cooking.

COOKING RECOMMENDATIONS

The product is ready to eat and can be consumed as is or it can be fried.

Fried: Panfry on medium heat until your desired crispness.

STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS

Polony is a cooked product. It must be kept refrigerated between 0°C and 5°C. Once opened, it is best consumed within 2 days, but it must be consumed by the “use by” date shown on pack. Home freezing is not recommended.

COOKING RECOMMENDATIONS

Product to be defrosted at room temperature before cooking.

Not suitable for microwave cooking or boiling on stove top. Do not cook in water.

Panfry – Sausages to be fried in shallow oil on low to medium heat in an uncovered pan for 15 – 20 minutes, turning frequently until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan and drain on a kitchen paper towel.

Oven Grill – Preheat oven to 180°C. Place sausages on a lightly greased tray, evenly spaced. Grill for 15 – 20 minutes, turning frequently until golden brown and cooked.

Frozen Pork Sausages are uncooked and should be consumed within 2 days of opening the pack or by ‘Use By’ date as indicated on pack. Stovetop: Boil water for 1-2 minutes and remove from heat. Remove the viennas from packaging and add to the water. Allow to stand for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the water and serve.

Microwave: Remove viennas from packaging. Place in a shallow dish. Add a little water and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove from the dish and serve.

Panfry: Gently fry in a little oil, butter or margarine until the Vienna swells slightly.
