History
Enterprise Foods originated as a small business founded in 1917 by Hans Loeffer, an immigrant from Germany. Initially known as Pietersburg Cold Storage, the name was changed to Enterprise Foods after the company was bought over by the Asakor Group in 1946.
Over the years Enterprise formed part of several food companies, including the 50/50 shareholding between Foodcorp and Tiger Consumer Brands Limited. In May 2003, Enterprise Foods became a wholly owned subsidiary of Tiger Consumer Brands Limited.
