Polokwane Manufacturing
Enterprise Foods has two product category focused processing facilities, one of which is the Emulsions facility and canning plant based in Polokwane in Limpopo - the "Province of Peace".
This facility is not only the largest employer in the City of Polokwane, but it is also a world class manufacturing facility that makes use of high-tech automated processing equipment, capable of manufacturing 1,3 million viennas per day and 500 tons of polony per week.
All of this is done in extremely hygienic conditions, using high quality raw materials. Other products manufactured at this facility include meat loaves, spreads and canned meats.
Quality assurance forms the cornerstone of the processed meat industry and at Enterprise Foods we deliver on our promise of quality.
This promise to our consumers is further enforced by the HACCP accreditation received from the SABS for our Polokwane facility, which ensures that we follow consistent high levels of Food Safety in our manufacturing process.

Polokwane Manufacturing – Directions
ADDRESS:Enterprise Foods, no 28 21st Street,Industria, Polokwane
- From Johannesburg, take the N1 north to Polokwane.
- On entering Polokwane, pass the Motor city complex on the left hand side.
- Entering the city you will be in Grobler Str which is a one way street.
- Turn left into Market Street following the Louis Trichardt sign boards and proceed
along Market street for a few kilometres.
- Just past the University of Technology on the left hand side, the road forks.
- Keep left, passing the Game shopping Centre on the left hand side and then turn
right at the next robot.
- The factory is on the immediate right hand side. (Main Gate)

Germiston Manufacturing
The Germiston manufacturing facility consists of six factories spanning in excess of 15 000 m2 under roof, set on 6.5 Hectares of ground.
The site hosts the following dedicated product factories:
Bacon Factory
Where various types of bacon are manufactured, sliced and packed for the Enterprise,
Renown and Like-it-Lean brands.
Ham Factory
Which manufactures a range of hams, chicken and turkey rolls, as well as a range
of deli speciality roasts.
Salami Factory
Where raw fermented products such as various German type salami's and cervelats
are produced.
Pork Sausage Factory
The Pork Sausage factory spans an entire 737 m2, is where the frozen sausages such as Pork Bangers, Cheese Bangers, Cocktail Sausages and Pork Sausages are manufactured.
Continental Factory
In this factory, with its high care packing hall, smoked and cooked sausages, such as Traditional Sausages, German Viennas, Russians, Frankfurters and Cocktail Viennas are manufactured and packed.
Factory Shop
Our Germiston site also features a Factory Shop that is open to the public from
Mondays to Saturdays and which offers the entire range of brands available from
Enterprise Foods.
Germiston Manufacturing – Directions
ADDRESS:Enterprise Foods, No 1 Bosman Street, Industria East, Germiston
- Take the N3 - Eastern Bypass.
- Keep to the LEFT of the highway through the Geldenhuis Interchange, continuing on
M2 Germiston until you reach the T-Junction.
- Turn RIGHT into Refinery Rd.
- After about the 5th Robot, take the slipway LEFT (just as you pass the petrol station).
- You are now in Power Rd (which will turn into Linton Jones Rd).
- Continue On this road over approx 6 robots.
- You will cross two Railroad tracks.
- Immediately after crossing the second railroad track, you will see Enterprise Foods
is on your left.

Factory Shops
Our Polokwane, Germiston and Pork Packers sites also feature Factory Shops that
are open to the public from Mondays to Saturdays and which offer the entire range
of brands available from Enterprise Foods.

At our Factory Shops you will find selected products within the Enterprise
Foods stable, including a selection of fresh pork cuts at great value and other superior Enterprise quality products.
The shops are well structured and with neat and tidy isles, and give a feeling of shopping in a mini retail store. Although they are predominantly stocked with the Enterprise products such as polony, bacon, ham, viennas, salami and sausages, you will also find some of the other Tiger Brands products such as All Gold, KOO, Jungle Oats on shelf.
The Factory Shops are open to the public from Mondays to Saturdays and Enterprise Foods would like to invite you to visit them next time you're in the area.
Please note: Although we pride ourselves in having products available at all times at our Factory Shops , it is sometimes dependent on stock levels and product availability.
